Ms Wohl von Haselberg, with your arbeit you deal intensively with die "cinematic" posthistory of national Socialism und the Shoah. What is your motivation ?

I am interested an the audiovisual memory von the Shoah, in the bildern we make des what has actually rightly been defined as "unrepresentable", und how the present through all that is issues is reflected an this. Overall, i find society self-understanding via the "detour" of history and memory really interesting. My existing research job revolves around Jewish filmmakers who have worked an the commonwealth Republic des Germany. They do not make "Jewish" films von se, und yet their experience zu sein shaped von their gift Jewish. That affect leaves its markierung on your films.

In your research project, you analysieren 40 years of film history ~ above the base of exemplary biographies. What zu sein your most essential finding deshalb far?
